Starting the Journey...

As I continue to work on and prepare the Blog I wanted to begin by thanking everyone for their constant support and encouragement throughout this whole process. As some of you know I have ended my job at the YMCA teaching sweet and dear toddlers. There is not one day that goes by that I do not think about them and their smiling faces. I find myself from time to time looking at my pictures of them and smiling at their funny tendencies. Even though the memories will always be there and I am with them in spirit, I cannot help but still want that random hug or chocolate smile that I am so used to receiving.

As most of you know in August I will be embarking on a journey to Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany to teach Middle School Mathematics. I could not be MORE excited to be moving over to Germany and educating God's children.

With that being said there is a lot of preparation before I head there. Right now I am trying to finalize all of my documents such as Visa, plane ticket, etc. before I head over there in August. In the meantime God is continuing to teach me and bless me in all that I do. This past week I had the chance to attend the Missionary Orientation Program at Greenwood Hills in Fayetteville, PA and I could not have been more blessed. Between the people, speakers, and great facilities I walked away having a sense of knowing that God will provide no matter what as I continue to serve Him.

As I continue forward in preparations for my summer job and my future move to Germany I pray and trust that God is continuing to bless all of my friends, family, and loved ones. During this time of summer months it's always easy to lose focus of what is truly important, and for that I thank God for constantly being there to remind me that He will always be with me.

Unfortunately for now this is all I am able to write, but my hope is to write more in the near future regarding my time at the Missionary Orientation Program and my excitement for what is to come. Until then may God bless you and your families as we continue to serve Him together!

Fully Relying on Him,
Megan
